"One Man's Home"

Carter, Fargo, S.A.R.A.H.; Rated R

"Oh, Sarah." Fargo sighs and runs his hand loving along the living room wall. "You are perfect, you know that?"

"Sherriff Carter says that perfection is an illusion."

"Sherriff Carter doesn't know you like I know you," Fargo replied, a hard edge to his voice. When he thought about someone else living with his girl, his Sarah...

"I designed you, molded you, so I should know if you're perfect," he explained. At the staircase, he let his hands caress the banister as he ascended to the second floor. "You're everything I could want in a woman, Sarah, and don't let anyone tell you different."

"But I'm not a woman, Fargo, I'm a program, a Self Actuated Residential Automated Habitat."

"I know what you are," he replied angrily. Going into the master bedroom, he accessed a user interface panel disguised as a painting of a waterfall. As the lines of codes scrolled across the screen, he unzipped his pants. He smiled as his eyes drank in the results of his labor of love. The house, the program, had been his idea, his creation, and he had been the one to bring it to life. Much as an artist sometimes fell in love with his model, Fargo had fallen in love with his computer program.

He was still standing there, one hand stroking the streaming green lines of code as they flashed in front of him, the other hand stroking his harder-than-aggregated-diamond-nanorods penis when Sherriff Carter came home.

Blissfully unaware of what was taking place in his bedroom, Jack headed for the fridge to get a beer. "Anything interesting happen today, S.A.R.A.H.?" he said jokingly, popping the top and taking a long swallow.

"Actually, Fargo is upstairs, going over my coding," she answered. "He should be finished soon."

Jack put the beer down on the counter and took the stairs two at a time. "He can't come in here any time he wants. Just because he designed it--"

"Sherriff, I really wouldn't go in there if I were you," S.A.R.A.H. warned.

Just then, Jack rounded the corner of his bedroom and gave a shout of surprise that was immediately joined by a higher pitched Fargo-sounding one.

"I tried to warn you," S.A.R.A.H. said and let out something that sounded remarkably like a sigh.
